मकर संक्रांति देवताओ का दिन

 

खुशी और समृद्धि का व्यौहार मकर संक्रांति, सूर्य के मकर राशि में प्रवेश करने पर मनाया जाता है। इस वर्ष मकर संक्राति 15 जनवरी को मनाया जायेगा। इस दिन सूर्य उरायण हो जाता है। मकर संक्रांति का धार्मिक महत्व उत्तरायण के अविधि काल को देवताओं का दिन कहते हैं।

मकर संक्रांति को देवताओं का प्रभातकाल कहते हैं। गीता में लिखा है कि जो व्यक्ति उत्तरायण में शरीर का त्याग करता है, वह श्री कृष्ण के परम धाम में निवास करता है। पुराणों में इस दिन गंगा नदी में स्नान का विशेष महत्व बताया गया है। इस तिथि पर स्नान व दान करना बड़ा पुण्यदायी माना गया है। इससे जीवन और आत्मा के कारक सूर्य देव का प्रभातकाल कहते हैं।

उत्तर प्रदेश में खिचड़ी बना कर सूर्यदेव को भोग लगाया जाता है। पंजाब और हरियाणा में फसलें पक जाने के उपलक्ष में इसे लोहड़ी के रूप में मनाया जाता है। आसाम में बिहु और दक्षिण भारत में पोंगल के रूप में मनाते है। महाराष्ट्र में नवविवाहित स्त्रियाँ अपनी प्रथम संक्रांति पर तेल, कपास और नमक का दान सौभाग्यवती स्त्रियों को करती है।

 

मकर संक्रांति पर सूर्य की जल चढ़ाते हुऐ इस मंत्र का 11 बार उच्चारण करना चाहिये।

अन्य मंत्र- ऊँ घृणि सूर्याय नमः 11 बार इन मंत्रों का उच्चारण कर अपनी मनोकामना माँगे तो सूर्य देव आपकी मनोकामना जरूर पूरी करेंगे।

अर्घ के जल में क्या मिलाये – गुड़ और चावल, मकर संक्रांति पर क्या दान करे – कंबल, गुड़, तिल खिचड़ी का दान जीवन में भाग्य लाता है।
